Red Indian Lake is the Second Largest Lake in Newfoundland and quite easy to spot on a map of the Province. Millertown, your host, is located right on the Northeast section of the lake, in the exact centre of Newfoundland Island!
Follow the Trans Canada Highway, 1, to Badger, then turn South onto Highway 370. Highway 370 brings you to 3 of the communities surrounding Red Indian Lake, Buchans, Buchans Junction and Millertown. Buchans Junction is 42 km away from Badger, make a turn south and drive for 6 more km to Millertown.
Driving to Newfoundland:
If you aren't interesting in flying, you can also take the ferry from Sydney, NS to Port Aux Basques, NL. Unfortunately this ends up being a 5.5 Hour Drive, but you can of course take in all the wonderful sites Western Newfoundland has to offer along the way!
